The Multicultural Fair at Culbreth Middle School was a great success. We had participants from Korea, Karen students from Burma/Thailand, Germany, Britain, Peru, Philippines, Italy, and Denmark. We had cloggers, tap dancers, and a fabulous drum circle. There was food from each country and children could get their passports stamped at the tables that represented a particular country. At our Karen table, Eh Thoo Boh and Ms. Collins made an informative poster representing the Karen culture. There was also pictures of the refugee camps where many of our students were born and lived before coming to America.
Beautiful girls!!

We also had a very good showing from our Korean families. Jiwon made a wonderful poster representing industry and pop culture in Korea. Here she is with her family.
